Can you take a plane directly to Disney’s Castaway Cay and fore go the cruise?

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

Our son is doing a Disney Cruise / Ceremony for his wedding. We want to be there but may not be able to afford it. Is it possible to take a plane directly to the private island of Castaway Cay so we won’t miss the actual ceremony? We would fly out of Virginia.

I want to take my 7 and 11 year old boys on a disney cruise. My husband and I have been on many druises but thought the disney cruise would have alot of stuff to do for kids. I want to take some friends with us that have children the same age. My question is simply is a disney cruise worth it and do they have stuff for the kids to do on the ship while the adults are doing adult stuff?

Anyone ever take alcohol on a cruise ship?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

We are planning a cruise with the family as our Christmas gift to everyone. I feel cheap asking but has anyone hid alcohol and took aboard? I know that is one way they make money on the ship. My in laws are big drinkers and I know after the bill it will cost more than the rooms do. Im not kidding. I suppose everyone can pay their own alcohol taps. Any suggestions would help

Florida Cruise Ports Take You to the Caribbean and Beyond

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Take a cruise, including a statement that is fun and relaxing. You can take the cruises around the world, the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea, you can cruise in Alaska. If you live in the vicinity of Florida have been particularly fortunate in Key West and throughout the Caribbean. We have two of the cruise ports, right here at Cape Canaveral and one in Fort Lauderdale, you can also take a cruise from Miami.
If you have never done a cruise I recommend you go plan as soon as possible. These days the cruise ships are like small, or should I say floating city with large bunches and bunches of things to do and see. The cruise is typical of many services. Training rooms, all have bikes and weights, but today there are saunas, steam baths and any kind of yoga or Pilates can imagine. Day Spa offering massages, chemical peels and mud baths. If you prefer to buy you can find everything from shirts and travel mugs for fashion designers who are fashion, high-end perfumes and fabulous jewels, often at reduced prices, many boats are too full of liquor stores and most of often there are no taxes, but must declare what you bought when you get through customs to take into account.
There is much to do when you cruise too, and while relaxing in the pool is nice, there are always ongoing. Directors on board a cruise ship more things for almost 24 / 7, no fun for the family as the bingo, the Hokie Pokie and perhaps even charades. They dance contest for children and hoolahoop contests, limbo, crafts, anything you can imagine. If you have older children, some ships even have special rooms for older children who are not quite old enough for clubs to dance, but a little "old for hoolahooping.
When the sun sets, and it is time for mom and dad 'some fun there is plenty to keep him off the road after midnight. If you're planning a night of it and have children under ships offer babysitting services, you can experience the book. All boats offer the kind of Broadway shows and most are of a casino in Las Vegas with the usual blackjack, craps, roulette, slots, all types of poker, and sometimes you can get in a tournament like Texas Hold 'em and Five Card Stud. Some have karaoke bar, piano bar grief, the comedian and if you're in the mood of a crowd that just nice and relaxing piano bar, cigar bar, where you can meet people and talk while sipping wine or an after dinner cordial.
One of my favorite parts of cruising is the food. You can get everything you want in almost any time of day or night. When I was on my cruise were there in the casino, enjoying the slot machines, there were about this wonderful person, which are these huge chocolate covered strawberries and it was midnight. Dinner cruise is not just a meal is an event. Some cruises have assigned seats and sat down with the same people for meals throughout the journey, but others do not, so wherever you sit, who you want, and most of the seats offer an initial and then . The captain's dinner is usually the last or second last night of your trip and a formal dinner, dress and have your picture with the captain. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet or dining room and everyone is prepared by top chefs and served in the most well trained servers you'll find anywhere. If you want to try something, do not hesitate to ask for seconds, most ships offer several entree selections and desserts are spectacular. Snacks and refreshments are offered during the day and second day of sometimes offer special deals such as an ice cream bar in the afternoon and even people returning from shore excursions.
Speaking of excursions you can decide what you want to do when you reserve and book your cruise or wait until spring and see what else to do when landing in the port, but do not wait too long Most places require reservations and some things fill quickly. Depending on where you dock a number of opportunities to take advantage of everything from snorkeling and diving canopy and explore caves or ruins. Can a tour of the places of the earth or water, or you can visit a local museum or cathedral. Most port cities have a tourist and shopping area, with many souvenirs to buy and local restaurants are not lost. If you do not want to leave town, you can walk the streets and absorb the native flavor. Be sure to check if it is safe to go, but more often than not a problem. Some offer discounts on packages on board that vessel may be used in stores greater than 2 for 1 offers or coupons.
There are all kinds of cruises can be booked once you have chosen your destination. There are singles cruises, cruising couples, organizations such as churches and clubs often book them. You can go on a cruise for Christmas, New Year or Valentine's Day, one book a honeymoon or grade. There are a number of reasons to take a cruise you can take one. The book can get a room with a view, or in a room, you can book a room for two or a suite for your entire family, not just a window of a balcony, but this is what I recommend.
So, have fun, take your family or have only you and your love, but once on a cruise of this bet, you should return.

When is the Best Time to Take a Cruise

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Booking a cruise is a really magical experience. You may feel that the amusement park vacations are just too boring. Or, you may be tired of exploring the same old cities and locations. Instead, why not take a cruise? There are plenty of things to do and to see on these cruises. Most of the time, you will be unlimited in where you want to go and the things that you would like to enjoy. But, one thing that you will need to decide about the cruise is the right time for you to go on it. Let’s face it, not everyone gets a choice as to when they can take their vacations. Many have to worry about school schedules and work ones as well. But, the more options that you have in the times that you can travel, the better your options are going to be. There are plenty of them too. But, to break it down, we’ll put it quite simply as traveling in the off season, which is generally the winter months, or traveling in the travel season which includes summer and holidays from school. Off Season Travel Versus In SeasonThere are many benefits to each of these choices. Really, it is up to you to decide which the right choice for our needs is. But, if you do have the options to consider, then look at what is available. First in the season of travel, you usually can find more people to travel with. You can get your group together and go as a family which can help you to get lower rates. You can also find a wide range of options in where to travel as most cruises run during this time period. But, if you travel in the off season, you may be able to save quite a bit of money. Many cruise lines will offer outstanding packages for this time period. You usually do not need as much time to book these trips either. You can usually find the right location to go to within a small amount of time. And, there are fewer crowds as well. Of course, there may be a limit to the locations that you travel to due to winter weather, but you may find that some areas, like the tropics are more enjoyable in slightly cooler weather. With all of that said, you need to carefully consider the options that you have. Finding the right deal and the right cruise is also important to you. Yet, with the world as your destination, you may be able to find just what you would like to have.
