’tis the Season to be Cruising

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Christmas, the most exciting time of the year for many. Young and old, cold hearts open up, and complete strangers exchange smiles in the street. But, lets face it, with the endless present buying combined with the stresses of preparing the perfect Christmas meal, not to mention the TV soap storylines reaching their long awaited depressing peaks, it’s no surprise that over 17 million of us Brits wish we could leave it all behind this year. And it never, ever snows.

Dreaming of something different? Whether it’s island hopping in the Canaries, swimming with dolphins in the Caribbean or a truly spectacular festive trip to Alaska that takes your fancy, cruising can be the perfect answer to a stress free Christmas getaway.

Last Christmas around 2. 5 million of us said farewell to the UK in search of warmer climates, with an increasing number choosing to cruise. It’s clear to see why the market is booming, cruise lines spend thousands of pounds each year transforming their ships into festive wonderlands, with lavish decorations, carol concerts, religious services and of course, scrumptious seasonal meals, minus the washing up! This December, Princess cruises have gone one step further in creating the magic of Christmas with their latest innovation – “falling snow” – in the Atriums of many of their ships. Amazingly, passengers can enjoy the romance, without the chills as the flakes vanish on contact.

Any child’s Christmas appetite will be well and truly satisfied onboard a family friendly ship. Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, crackers and games comes as standard, but with an onboard Father Christmas complete with grotto, and presents, and if they are lucky, a special reading of “The Night Before Christmas” by the captain, it will be an experience to remember. And the grown ups? Well, how about a glass of eggnog, Midnight Mass and a burning log fire on your cabin TV screen!

So is it expensive? The short answer is no, cruising works out to be outstanding value for money, and you can make huge savings by booking up early, or, if you’re really lucky, catching a great late deal that will see you and your family enjoying a Christmas next year to remember.

Christmas will never ever be complete without the traditional Christmas tree that everyone loves to adorn. Whether you have an eight-foot or a two-foot green pine tree, having a tree is always a must during the Holidays.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven:
Christmas is one of the happiest seasons of our lives. We gathered the family together, where you create special traditions and many memories of love of love. We all have special memories of Christmas? Past S. Let me share with you some of my memories.
Christmas has changed for me over the years. I am a grandmother and enjoy

My song? Christmas Wish? says that what is in my heart.
If I could have one wish for Christmas, IA? D en el tiempo,
When our children were small and have been home with us.
Wea? D decorate the house with the lights, put the Christmas tree,
Cookies, sing Christmas songs in the neighborhood.
Make gifts for the more we love, wrap them well,

Wea in the manger? D attention was the Savior in
WEA Eve? D keep it close, our hearts filled with love
Thank you for our family, our gift from God
Wea? D abdomen safely in bed, fill the stockings full

Christmas Morna eyes shine? when the father turned on the lights,
Santa left lots of presents, cookies and milk is gone.

The memories of those special days, years ago,
It seems like yesterday, life was full of joy.
If I could have one wish for Christmas, IA? D in time
When our children were small and have been home with us.
Not only Christmas brings back memories of my children, but also valuable
memories or my dear mother, who died on 18 October 2002. Was
86 years and life was not easy for her, but did everything possible to make our lives
Happy. The most favorite memories of my mother were wonderful
Christmas? S has created for my brother, sister and me She always Christmas
beautiful and exciting, despite our alcoholic father who has wreaked havoc with our
Life, every time he got drunk, especially at Christmas time.
My mother seemed to have the mission to make things right for us every Christmas.
Each year will open a paid account Zellers, to buy gifts for us. My
the father gave the money. We were poor, because of his addiction. We bought
the necessary things like socks and underwear, but always something special. I
I remember the red leather folder he gave me when he was 10. We the Children
I did not know then, but for the rest of his years of mother has paid its bill of loading
Cash could withdraw money from their food. Each season has begun
earlier with another charge on my account of Christmas.
Mom would not let us see the first tree on Christmas morning, a family tradition.
My children now have their own tree of at least two weeks before Christmas. But yet when I was young the first view of the structure was glorious.
One Christmas Eve, when my father was drunk, took a Christmas tree from a lot,
, Which had closed at night, and brought it home, dragging behind him. We
lived in Canada and the tree has been frozen. When I took her home to
thaw, my mother was aware of why no one had bought. The
had only a few tree branches. My mother sent him back to another tree, which
was also naked, bound so that the two together.
Mom would stay up all night decorating the tree with care and wrap gifts.
Always had a knack of doing things perfectly. He made a special effort to
Choose the most beautiful card I could afford and all had a brilliant gift
ribbon and bow. She is dedicated to bringing excitement to our eyes,
On Christmas morning, when he turned on the lights in our beautiful tree, load
with many gifts from Santa Claus. His reward came when he saw that the pleasure we
as he had broken all the treasure.
Often, our father was too hung over from being with us to open gifts and later
the head of day to be with their friends, but our mother did
Christmas was special. It was always Grandma and grandpaâ? House S of a
turkey feast with all our relatives.
This Christmas I am especially grateful to my loving mother who sacrificed for
both for his family and created memories and traditions of Christmas, I
be transferred to my grandchildren. I will miss her greatly.
In all our lives, we have special memories of Christmas and I have another
  never forget.
I call it? The miracle of pineapples. â?
Shortly before Christmas, many years ago, five years my grandson, Jesse, and I
Julian was in California, where my husband was doing work.
As we wonder beneath the spectacular saw him lying on the pineapple
They were big and magnificent. My grandson loved and wanted
Take your 'house, so we are.
I wondered what we could create with them. As I had one and turned it over, I realized it looked like a perfect Christmas tree, only brown. I found my
Christmas snow and sprayed white. Before our eyes became mud
in a tree, covered by a blanket of snow. Therefore decided to decorate. I
When it was his snow blocked. The
jewel cones covered Christmas trees.
Jesse and I enjoyed a lot of trees that encouraged us to my mother,
grandmother to participate, and we spent an afternoon to make a good
trees. What wonderful memories I have of my mother and nephew of work
and the creation of the treasures of colors. I took a picture with my heart.
We had so many trees and wondered what to do with them. We made some recommendations to
family members and recruited them to go Christmas caroling
neighborhood. I took another picture with my heart, the singing of a Jesse? Away in a Manger? and then proudly and then give your precious tree of a neighbor smiling.
I still had to give the trees and wondered what to do with them. Years I taught a 16-year-old Sunday school class at my church. I wondered if I could combine my children and trees in a service project that allows the spirit of Christmas to these young people. There was a high level of home care throughout our church. He asked if I would take my children to sing Christmas carols to their homes and distribution of remaining Christmas trees. The house gave me their approval and appreciation. When I presented my idea to my students that I was not prepared for their response. Some of them were not excited. In fact, I think, many of them were just embarrassed to sing in front of him. But I assured them it would be a nice thing to do and each armed with a tree, children. We set our mission.
When we entered the first room of the nursing home, my youth was a
bit 'timid, but he did sing a line from a weak? Silent Night ????, except for a big child who
was in the back of the room and not sing. One of them gave up his tree
for the patient and are grateful to the left.
As we worked our way from room to room, the boys gradually heated
to see the smiles and tears on the faces of the dear old souls, except
for children in the back. His singing became stronger and more attuned and
I could not? expect to run into the next room. I always remember the 95 year old man
who had been bedridden for several years, the acceptance of your Christmas tree
by a group of young enthusiasts. I took another photo.
When he had given to young trees have been satisfied and happy. They
After the spirit of Christmas, and I didnâ? I want to go. Having known the joy of giving
patients.
Finally we went to the door. On the way we met a lady sitting in a sad
corridor in his wheelchair. When he saw the noisy, laughing teenagers a
toothless smile on her face and arms with faint hope
give them a hug. My teenage splendid form a line and each
leaned over and give him a big hug. Another photo!
When we got outside the building, we discovered that the boy, who had
stay in the back of each room and not singing, was not. Returned
building to find him and that was when I made the most memorable
photos, with my heart. There in the hallway was large muscles, their
knees in the arms of the beloved 100-year-old lady. He was strong, but
beaten gentle arms around her small frail body. Two tears
their faces. In his lap was the Christmas tree brought pineapple
throughout the house and went to be ashamed.
Years that love came in the form of a cone tree.
We all have much to be thankful for how to create Christmas memories and
traditions within our families as happy as all of us.
This Christmas we have more reasons to seek the good things in life and be
grateful for everything we've been blessed with, in spite of world events. We
I remember that Christmas is a time of giving and gratitude.
I wrote a song to help encourage all of us and help us understand what we can do
this Christmas to make a difference in our world.
What can I do to help?
Theree? S much sadness and pain. What can I do to help?
Theree? S a lot of anger and hatred. What can I do to help?
I appreciate my freedom in this country that I love.
I bring comfort to someone. What I can do everything it should.
Theree? S is so much evil and confusion. What can I do to help?
Theree? S a lot of pain and worry. What can I do to help?
I love my brother, I can do a kind gesture.
I care for another, I get on my knees.
Theree? S much sadness and pain. What can I do to help?
Theree? S a lot of anger and hatred? What can I do to help?
I fight evil and suffering that leads
I always enjoy? S will, peace can come to our world,
Goda can always do? S is for peace can come to our world.
Thanks for letting me share my special memories of the happiest of my season
life. I pray that everyone will remember the reason for our Christmas and do

Regards.
