Interior Christmas Decorating
Spending this time together with your family, and using everyone’s ideas to make your home look beautifully festive will be a joy to the children and adults alike. Construct a lovely setting to put the Nativity scene. Make it the centre of attention and place candles of different heights around it. Either hang a big golden star over the top, or if you haven’t the facilities for that, then place it on a piece of strong wire, make a base with the wire by turning the bottom portion into a ring so that the star can be seen at the rear of the Nativity scene.
Decide where you want to buy online and check out the prices, compare, and buy up on specials; sometimes they can be as low as 75% off. The ChristmasWarehouse. com. au have hundreds of ads in their classified pages, just join, log in, and begin to search. So many sites you visit not only have an overabundance of trees, lights, decorations and more, but will also deliver Australia wide. So when you get you Christmas ‘goodies’ make lots of bows, big and small, with colourful ‘Christmassy’ ribbon, bright red and green ribbons and clear sparkling ribbons. Adding fake snow on the windows is great too,
Use safety pins and attach them to the curtains, cushions and all over the house. Don’t forget the bathroom, kitchen, and dining room either. The children will love doing their bedrooms, so make sure to buy lots of tinsel. Hang pretty ornaments from curtains, on picture hooks and anywhere you want to make your home look bright and beautiful.
All you need is an enthusiastic family with loads of ideas and energy and you will have your home interior Christmas decorating done in no time at all and, the best thing of all, it won’t cost much, and you will all have a great time.
Outdoor Christmas Decoration
So now, it is time to decorate the outside of your home for Christmas. Where do you start? I always start at two of the best online sites for my decorations, the first is OzFreeOnline. com, where you join up, and search through the hundreds of free ads that have just about every conceivable item you would want to track down. Don’t waste any more time, because if you want to pick up something special at a good price, then it’s time to log on and start your shopping.
Outdoor Christmas decorations can be overwhelming if they are done well. With so many styles to choose from, there is no excuse for having a dowdy house front over the Christmas period. I love to see the amazement in children’s faces when they see coloured lights flashing, Santa’s sleigh, and reindeer cruising across a housetop sparkling in the summer breeze.
My family love Christmas and everyone helps with the decorating, inside and out. You can make it simple, or you can make it as convoluted as you will allow your imagination to run. Most of the houses around us in Melbourne have put up Christmas outdoor decorations and lights over the past few years and it seems to be catching.
I’m glad, because somehow it seems to initiate a bonding between neighbours. It amazes me that people stream past the houses in the street to look at the Christmas decorations when they have been totally illuminated to the point where the street become almost ‘daylight’ with the thousands of different lighting combinations.
You can make your own outdoor decorations and once again, even tiny tots can enjoy making their own decorations to go on display in the front garden. If you are crafty then you will find many uses for cardboard rolls, tin foil stars, plastic bells, spray painted in the traditional colours of green, red, and gold, and hung on string or wire as a garland. Striped candy canes can be hung in bushes and trees and the children can cut out gold stars and hang them from branches as well. Let their little minds run wild and you will be surprised with the ideas.

I would really like to go on the Disney Cruise Ship but I have no idea where to begin finding information about it, or where to book a trip on it. Does anyone know where I could look?
Thank You!!
Going on a cruise is something many people dream about. Entirely cut off from the day-to-day world, taking to the sea can be an ideal way to relax. But many people put off their dream cruise vacations until later in life because they don’t think it possible to take their kids along with them.
You may be happy to know that the cruise world is changing, with several companies making a special effort to ensure that families feel included, and that means planning a family cruise has never been easier.
If you’re planning a family cruise, the first thing you’ll want to decide on is a family friendly destination. Depending on your budget, you might want to consider cruising around the Mediterranean, where you can take time out to explore the remnants of ancient civilizations while your kids enjoy the calm blue waters and warm sunshine. A cruise in the Bahamas offers a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere where children will love learning about local customs and trying exotic food. And a classic Caribbean cruise has something for everyone, with a host of interesting places to visit and great weather for the kids to enjoy.
Carnival Cruise Lines, in particular, has a number of kid-friendly offerings. With more than 100,000 kids traveling on its ships each year, you can be certain there will be friends for your little ones to play with. Carnival has a have a busy program of events designed to keep kids of all ages entertained; they also offer a babysitting service and a ‘free play’ area full of toys (plus a video games room for older kids). Celebrity, Costa, Crystal and Holland America offer similar services, while Disney cruises put kids centre stage with a large area of the deck, designed to look like Captain Hook’s ship from ‘Peter Pan’, devoted to them. Disney also offer special cabins designed for teenagers so that they can have their own private spaces adjacent to family cabins.
When you’re planning a family cruise, be careful to ensure that suitable cabins are available. Most cruise lines require that an adult (sometimes an adult over the age of 25) share each room where kids are staying. This can make things difficult for larger families. Carnival and Disney offer five person cabins. Although you may see tempting deals offered by the smaller cruise lines, it’s often worth sticking with the major ones because they can guarantee reduced rates for young passengers.
Planning a family cruise is all about getting the details right to begin with. Then you can set off on your vacation with the certainty that everybody will have a good time.
Please let me know about your Disney Cruise experience. I’ve never been on a cruise but my family and I are planning to do a Disney one within the next year. Please tell me pro’s and con’s of a Disney Cruise. Also what do you have to tell me on how for in advance to book it for a very nice room. I can’t do it in Europe but do YOU prefer the Caribbean or Bahama’s? Should I make it half the time on sea and half on land or all on sea. I’m leaning towards all on sea. Thanks for helping me and I’m very excited! Like I said, I’ve never been on a cruise before do I’m really looking forward to this. I chose Disney because I’m watching a special on DIsney Cruises right now!
Thanks again and I appreciate all answers–unless spam or not helping!
Have a very nice day!
