Holiday Disney Cruise for young adults?

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

I was wondering if any people (18-21) have been on the Disney Cruise and what they did to occupy themselves? I’m 18, almost 19, and now can go into the adult things…but I can’t go into the teen things. How do I find people my age to hang with?

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

There are 2 reasons why I LOVE christmas!! 1. Sales 2. Day after christmas sales. Usually,I end up buying myself things more than I buy for anyone else.

This year consisted of like 5 trips to the mall. i got:

2 pairs of abercrombie jeans. (one had no security sensor attached so I’ll let you guess about that) 40% OFF!
3 pairs of jeans, 2 sweaters and 1 T shirt from Ruehl NO.925 Everything was 50% off, even clearance and jeans were 50% off 38$ because the store is closing :(
1 Military Jacket from Banana Republic: $198 but I got 40% off because I opened their credit card so it came out to 118!!! (now their all sold out, and even on sale after xmas you couldn’t buy it for less than 140!!
1 pair of newly released shorts that will look amazing on my cruise this winter!!!!!!

YAY i love shopping for my self!

Leo vs. Virgo – true compatibility or just a brief holiday love affair?

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

I’m a Leo woman and I met a virgo personal trainer on my Christmas cruise ’08. I want something real to develop, but I sense the caution in his actions. Am I wasting my time and emotions as I wait to see if he wants to commit, or should I wait a little longer to see what transpires?

We spent a lot of days together, and pulled 4 all nighters getting to know each other. No sex, but heavy petting was involved. We keep in touch via email, and plan to see each other when he gets off the ship in April…or so he says…

I’ve been quite, reserved and ‘man-less’ for a few years out of choice, and he’s the first man to blow these cobwebs off of my heart and emotions. According to his best female crew member/friend, he’s very private and reserved. He’s never dated anyone on or off the ship even though he gets many compliments on his looks and physique

But he won’t reveal anything personal about his wants and needs as far as relationships are concerned. He’s made his little ‘jealous’ comments to me on occasion in a joking fashion, and he’s asked not to be compared to my ex when I said my ex was a virgo too. I know the kind of woman he wants, I know why he likes me, and I know he wants to take this as far as time and space will allow. But he’s SO reserved, and while I can see the cogwheels turning in his head, he won’t reveal his thoughts to me, or answer any questions I ask about him in emails. I’m careful how I approach him. Everything’s a big secret and I have no idea why.

He gave me the sweater he was wearing the first ‘date’ we were on, and has only recently started emailing me that he really misses me and can’t wait to see me. But he’s also had to change his disembarkation date by 1 month while he’s been asked to cruise with the ship on the Med!

How To Find A Cheap Holiday Cruise

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Because of the tough competition it has become very easy to find a cheap holiday cruise these days. Some might say that it has even become too easy. The term cheap holiday cruises has almost lost its meaning because cheap holiday cruises has become the standard.
In recent years companies have invested in bigger and better cruise ships which has led to cheaper prices for people going on cheap holiday cruises.
Finding Cheap Cruises
However there are still some things that you should be aware of in order to find the cheapest holiday cruises possible.
First of all beware that the best time of the year to be looking for a cheap holiday cruise is the second half.
You want to stay flexible and wait until November-December before booking your cheap holiday cruise. This will be a great way for you to save a lot of money.
With all of the online booking facilities available the competition in the travel market is very rough. This also holds true for cruise lines. They are simply looking for ways to fill their cabins before the ship leave port.
At the end of the year you should be on the lookout for what is termed as closeout deals. Around this time of the year you will be able to make substantial savings.
A closeout deal is basically termed this way because the end of the year is coming and a lot of cruises are scheduled to leave from ports all around the world. Therefore cruise lines are searching for ways to outsell their cabins.
Especially in the northern hemisphere this is the case with the Christmas holidays arriving and therefore most people want to stay at home with their family and friends. Cabins are therefore easily available.
Where to look for closeout deals
A good and easy way to find closeout deals is to pick up the phone and call the cruise lines. Another good way to find cheap holiday cruises is to head down to your local travel agent or make a search for cheap holiday cruises using the internet or simply Go to the websites of the cruise lines and find out what they have to offer you.
A great way to almost ensure that you will pick up a cheap holiday cruise is to make a visit at your local travel agency during the beginning of the year and let them know what you are after and how much you are willing to pay for a cheap holiday cruise.
another excellent source of cheap closeout holiday deals are the online booking sites. A lot of these sites offer a way for you to receive an email when the right offer shows up. A lot of the cheap holiday deal websites have weekly newsletters you will be able to join for free. The only thing you need to make sure is that you in fact read these newsletters in order for you to find out which sites offer the best cheap holiday deals. This will let you stand a better chance of actually getting a cheap holiday cruise deal when the time arrives.

Holiday Cruises

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

Cruise ships are becoming more popular for holidays than ever due to the amount of entertainment they offer. Many people have always had the belief that a holiday cruise is more than they can afford. Yet the prices are quite reasonable and you can choose various amenities the cruise ship offers as well as the location. This is a great way for the entire family to share the holidays without anyone having to plan the activities, cook the food, or make enough room for everyone.

Make sure you book your holiday cruise early though as they sell out fast. If you have a large number of people in your party you don’t want any of them to get left out. You can get the best prices and choose the cabin size you want too by booking your holiday cruise early. You will be responsible for your own transportation to the port so make sure you consider that in your price as well.

If you decide to take a holiday cruise for Christmas you will find everything is decorated with the theme. There will even be a Santa Claus to greet children on the cruise ship. You can bet the lines will be much shorter than those in your local department stores. Some of the most popular holiday cruises are those by Disney that include a trip to Disneyland or Disney World. If you are looking for a white Christmas then you may want to travel to Alaska or Antarctica. For a warmer Christmas you may want a cruise to the Caribbean.

In order to get the most enjoyment out of a holiday cruise, find out the various activities that are offered. Make sure there is plenty for everyone in your group to enjoy. If you find a particular cruise offers too many activities that you won’t take part in you need to look for another cruise that is more compatible with your hobbies and lifestyle.

The internet is a great place to compare prices for various holiday cruises and you can take a look at the different pictures too. Knowing the exact layout of the cruise ship and what your cabin will look like can help to relieve the anxiety associated with it. This will also help to build the excitement for all who will be traveling with you. Simply e-mail them with the information so that they can look at it too.

Your local travel agent will also have plenty of brochures you can pick up for free to explore the options for holiday cruises. They can help you plan the trip that you want for the very best price if you aren’t able to do it yourself. This is a great option if there are several parties going on the holiday cruise and they want to each pay separately. They can ensure everyone gets rooms by each other and take care of other such details to make the holiday cruise even more of a success.

In order to ensure everyone enjoys the holiday cruise, let those attending has a say in where you will go and the type of cruise you will have. The price may be a factor for some of the people involved so make sure you try to find something moderately priced. There are holiday cruise ships specifically for adults as well as those designed for families.
