Well after my family did an awesome Alaska cruise two years ago..they have decided that they will leave me to plan our next cruise…the Caribbean cruise for Christmas season.
So I guess step 1: what Cruise Line would you all recommend for us. My parents are in their early 50s, while the kids (3 of us) are 21-29. Who knows maybe “the kids” will bring their girlfriends as well (same age group).
From what I understand we should avoid Carnival Cruise line…since we’re going as a family and not as a bunch of drunk college students…Our Alaska Cruise was with Princess and they seemed to have a good mix of ages and diversity (we’re primarily Asians & Pacific Islander). Recommendations?
Hi!
My Family and some of my extended family want to go on a cruise during Christmas time (dec.21st)
The cruise is going to mexico/puerto rico area etc.
I have been on 2 disney cruises & have been extremely satisfied with them, so much that i cry whenever i have to leave the ship. How is royal caribbean the same or different? Which is also better?
I know on RC they charge you for soda, certain restaurants ect, un-like disney, but what else do you have to pay for while your ON the ship? & How does it compare just in general?

I am 19 yrs old and am going away with my family on a cruise to the Caribbean for Xmas. The ship leaves from Puerto Rico, and I’m wondering if this counts as a ‘South American’ country that will let my parents sign a waiver that I will be able to buy my own drinks. I am legal here in Canada, and my parents want me and my 18 year old brother (also legal) to enjoy the same privileges that we can at home.
Thanks!

Looking to get my parents a cruise for christmas. They have been on Carnival a few times but never Royal Caribbean. I am finding better specials on RC right now and was wondering if it would be a dissapointment after only carnival before.. I would like to hear from anyone who has gone on BOTH lines if possible, I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks!
Would Carnival or Royal Caribbean be a better cruise choice? It seems Royal Caribbean is more expensive. I’d like to find something cheap in the Caribbean for December 2010 after Christmas. Any ideas? Any great myrtle beach,sc places that are in the center of everything that would be a good recommendation, that is right on the beach?
