How is the Disney Cruise Line? Is it worth the money?

I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. I was considering looking into maybe a 5 night cruise for Christmas this year. I noticed their prices are quite a bit higher than normal cruise lines. Which I know can be expected…..it is Disney afterall! I just mainly want to know how you liked it?

If you are on a tight budget I would recommend a royal caribbean were you could even get a 7 night cruise for less. But if your kids are dying to see mickey mouse I would definetley say its worth it because there are very good kids programs on disney cruises. Also there are fun things for adults like adults only areas

one reason they are higher than normal cruise lines is because they have all the extra employees to entertain the young cruisers ie. . . mickey, minnie, etc.

sodas are also a non charge item.

if you are looking for entertainment for you and your spouse while the kids enjoy the cruise, have fun. . . . 1 bar on board, NO casino. You will have to make up your own things to do while on board.

i have never been on a DCL. . . . Hubby sees WDW 5 days a week. on vaca, we want to relax without the mouse.
