Looking to get my parents a cruise for christmas. They have been on Carnival a few times but never Royal Caribbean. I am finding better specials on RC right now and was wondering if it would be a dissapointment after only carnival before.. Wedding dates too close together?

My fiance and I have been engaged since Oct and chose Sept 2009 for our wedding. My cousin just proposed to his girlfriend on Christmas and she is wanting to have their wedding just a few weeks before ours. She said her reasoning is because her family is going on a cruise over the summer and they need to do it after that. We have family from other states that won’t be able to fly out for two so close together. Is that inconsiderate for her to pick a date so close to ours?
I’m not talking about a strangers wedding here. Its my cousin, who has the same guests to invite and some of the same people in the wedding party. Not everyone can afford the expenses of two weddings back to back.

My family has been planning a cruise for over a year for Christmas. I will be 29 weeks when shipping off, 30 when we disembark. Carnival’s deadline is 24 weeks. My OB has said I’m healthy enough to go but can’t sign off on the gestational age. Has anyone else gone and not notified the cruise line of the pregnancy? Were you asked for your Dr’s letter after embarkment?
